Axial explosion proof fans are suitable for mounting in explosive atmosphere endangered areas resulting from the existence of mixtures of air with gases, vapours, mists (device group II, category 2). Fans are driven directly by an electric motor shaft. Motors have reinforced construction "e".
Ducted fans in explosion-proof version fulfil the requirements of EU Directive 94/9/EC "ATEX" concerning devices intended for use in explosion endangered areas. (II 2G EEx e II T3 lub T4). The product is made from the following materials: motor housing and brackets are made from galvanized steel coated with epoxy-polyester paint, rotor with vanes are made from anti-static polyamide, hub is made of silumin, with asynchronous motors fitted for constant operation (S-1) in explosion endangered area.
Fans should be used in ambient temperature ranging from –20°C to + 40°C. Protection degree is IP56, isolation class F. Motors are not fitted for rotational speed regulation. All models are available in three-phase version only.
